Third Of The Way

Week 4 and day 19 of half marathon training.  I have decided to implement some Cross Training into the Hal Higdon training program.  The program calls for stretch & strength training on all Mondays but I took the liberty of substituting it with cross training and hill training.  The hill training so far has consisted of running at 10k pace on the treadmill at varying incline from 5% to 7% incline.  Today, after 5.8 miles on the stationary bike I ran on for a mile at 9 min/mile pace with a average incline of 6%.  The mile was broken up into 5 minute runs @ 5% incline with 1 minute at 0% incline, increasing .5% after each 1 minute run.
